This is my one point perspective full length drawing. It is drawn from standing view, with everything disappearing to one vanishing point. I chose to draw an orchard because I think orchards are beautiful, and a difficult thing to draw, so I challenged myself. I loved doing the texture of the grass and trees. We recently learned about landscape drawing, vanishing points, and shading of a cylinder, so I feel like I put those all together nicely.I do think I could have pushed my value scale a little more, though.

This is my self portrait. We learned how to correctly proportion the face, and then learned how to draw eyes, noses, mouths, and hair. We sat in front of a mirror and tried to draw our unique faces. I like how I did the eyes and lips, but I think I could have made the nose smaller. That is the only part that doesn't look like me. I also think I could have drawn the hair thicker, or erased the background, then drawn the hair, because it seems see-through. The glasses were probably the most difficult part because they have to be uniform, and it is hard to get the two sides exactly the same.

This is my Gray Paper/Charcoal drawing. I chose a picture of a girl, and tried to shade using the white and black charcoal pencils on the gray paper, using the gray as a middle ground. I liked how I did the eyes and the shading around them. I think I could have improved on the proportions of the face, like where the nose is placed.

This is my 2 point perspective drawing. 2 point perspective is when you have 2 vanishing points, or points where all the lines go to. I chose a church for my 2 point perspective. The hardest part was the windows and the shadows of the windows. I then had to add a human element, so I added a girl mopping the floor. I liked how I did on the windows, and how uniform they are, but I think I could have done better with the stones at the top and the girl .
